Ladder

Nine letters. Make a word at least as long as the target before the clock runs out. Every one you get is a rung up, and the target grows, up to all nine. Three misses and you're off.

How it works

Use each letter once at most. Any real word counts, plurals and all, in British or American spelling.
Longer targets score more. First letter shows the first letter of a word that works, for half points.
After each round you'll see the best words hiding in the letters.
